newborn photographer sydney: Baby V

When I first met Baby V to talk to her parents about an in-home newborn session in their Sydney apartment, she was completely surrounded in love. Her new parents were swooning in wonder, as well as both of her maternal grandmothers, her Great Grandmother, and a Great Aunt sat around her mesmerized. I am a 4th or 5th cousin via marriage, and we all marvelled at this little angel. Because in reality, if her parents listened to the doctors, she wouldn't be here. They both grew up with severe medical issues and fought hard to be here. They met online three years ago, and their worlds changed. They now live together and are fiercely independent while still requiring support from their families. It's a beautiful balance of love and care.

Of course, she slept through the whole afternoon, utterly unaware of the awe surrounding her arrival. A true blessing if I ever saw one.
